24/7 Gym Access Project at Sunbury Aquatic & Leisure Centre
We're excited to introduce 24/7 gym access at Sunbury Aquatic and Leisure Centre, giving members more flexibility to work out when it suits them.
This investment has been shaped by member feedback and will enhance the gym experience while providing greater convenience and value as part of membership.

What is changing at Sunbury Aquatic and Leisure Centre?
We're upgrading the gym to introduce 24/7 member access, along with improved amenities, accessibility upgrades, enhanced security and access control systems.
What does this project include?

When will works commence?
Construction works are scheduled to begin on Monday 12 October 2026.
There may be some preliminary set up from Monday 5 October 2026.
Will the centre remain open during construction?
Yes. The centre, gym, group fitness classes, swimming lessons and aquatic services will continue to operate throughout the project. Accessible entry will remain available for members during construction. While members may notice some temporary changes around the site, every effort will be made to minimise disruption and maintain access to services.
What can I expect?

How will 24/7 gym access work?
Like Splash, all members aged 18 years and over who have gym access included in their membership will be eligible for 24/7 access once the required online induction has been completed.

Will membership fees change?
